What’s the pricing model for Kritik?

Kritik offers two payment models: Student-pay and Institution-pay. The student-pay model costs $29 per license per course to use Kritik, while to implement the Institution-pay model, you can get in touch with our team to discuss pricing and the number of licenses required.

Does Kritik offer financial aid to students?

Yes - we offer financial aid to ensure equality and accessibility for all. We coordinate with the instructor to provide students in need with a coupon code for free access to Kritik on a case-by-case basis.

Can instructors and departments apply for grants?

Yes, our Community of Practice Grant subsidizes 100% of the cost of Kritik student licenses which is equivalent to $29 per student per semester. The grant is accessible by invite only to select educators interested in implementing peer learning through peer assessment and peer feedback. Availability is limited, and selection is based on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

Kritik can be purchased by semester or with an annual subscription.

Can students purchase Kritik through our campus bookstore?

Kritik can provide subscription codes to your campus bookstore so that students can purchase access on campus. Additionally, students with financial aid at their institution will be able to claim Kritik through the bookstore.
