Social Media is a constant feedback loop. It's the endless interaction that hook us in and it's what adjusts our behaviour over time. With so much noise, it can be difficult to understand what input is valuable and can be carried forward to improve our use - whether personally, or professionally when working with brands or influencers.
Similarly, peer assessment increases the amount of feedback each student receives per activity. As much as we work to set clear expectations and support students in sharing meaningful and thoughtful feedback, it is up to the student to determine what aspects are worthy of carrying forward. This is the aspect of critical thinking so valuable to the peer learning process in Kritik.
Dr. Karen Freberg joins us to share her experience using Kritik's peer-to-peer learning activities in her social media and strategic communications courses. Learn more about her activity examples, what she has experienced and learned along the way with Kritik, and what benefits she identifies with peer assessment.
