In this case study, we explore the journeys of two instructors who introduced the use of peer assessment with Kritik in their computer science assignments to result in a more engaged learning experience:

  • Prof. Mohammad Zia from University at Buffalo was able to increase student comprehension of weekly lecture content, allowing them to stay caught-up in class, and increase content retention.
  • Prof. Laura Reid from University of Western Ontario was able to reinforce course concepts through peer evaluation on major assignments, all while decreasing course costs, and grading time with 800+ students.
